The low setting meets household heating demands approximately 80% of the time, making the G60V a much quieter furnace than conventional single-stage furnaces. Its special sound absorbing, insulated cabinet further reduces sound levels. Also, the G60V furnace ramps up to speed slowly, rather than reaching full capacity all at once. This smooth, gradual speed buildup means there is no sudden "kick" or blast of cold air at startup. This quiet smooth operation also helps to keep temperatures consistant and humidity under control.
